Full-stack multi-vendor marketplace — designed, built, and shipped in-house

CusorCart is a multi-vendor e-commerce platform I built from the ground up. It covers the full commerce loop: buyers browse and checkout, vendors manage their stores and earnings, and admins control every layer of the marketplace. Rather than stitching together third-party platforms, I designed each system as a purpose-built module with a shared Laravel API at its core.

What I built

Main Marketplace (cusorcart.com) The public-facing storefront, built with Next.js and TailwindCSS. Buyers can browse by category, brand, or vendor; filter and search products; save items to a wishlist; and check out as guests or registered users. I built a custom-made product engine that lets buyers submit orders with specifications like measurements or name engravings. The currency switcher pulls from admin-configured exchange rates in real time, and payments flow through Paystack, Flutterwave, and Stripe depending on the buyer's region. Auth covers email verification, OTP, and social logins via Google and LinkedIn.

Vendor Dashboard (vendor.cusorcart.com) A dedicated portal for vendors to run their stores. Built with Next.js and Redux, it gives vendors full control over their product listings, order pipeline, store branding, and earnings. I built a wallet system that tracks revenue, handles withdrawal requests, and logs transaction history. Vendors get live metrics on product views and shop visits, AI-powered suggestions for product titles and SEO, and a custom field builder for defining the inputs buyers need to fill when ordering personalized products. A contest registration flow with dynamic forms rounds out the seller experience.

Admin Panel The internal CMS where my team controls the entire marketplace. It handles user, vendor, and product moderation; a product approval pipeline; delivery zone and shipping route configuration; pickup station management; and a currency manager for setting base rates and exchange multipliers. CMS blocks let admins update homepage banners and featured categories without touching code. Role-based access separates Admin, Support, and Moderator permissions.

Help Center (help.cusorcart.com) A self-serve support portal with a knowledge base of FAQs, policy pages, and how-to guides. The AI chatbot, Cusor, is trained on company documents and can answer policy questions, recommend products, and escalate to a human agent when needed. Each session is tracked by UUID or user token, transcripts are stored, and the API triggers a support alert on escalation.

In-house Mailer and Inbox System I built the entire email infrastructure with Laravel Mail. Transactional emails, account verification, order confirmations, password resets, and automated marketing flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, reminders) all route through it. I also built a custom inbox system using IMAP integration so that all replies land in a shared internal inbox, with every outbound email carrying the company's official branded header and footer. Staff reply from within the platform using a company address, keeping customer communication on-brand end to end.

Slack Notification Integration A custom Slack app that pushes real-time alerts to the team on key triggers: new vendor sign-ups, high-priority orders, customer tickets, and chatbot escalations. Messages are formatted dynamically with payload data so the team gets actionable context at a glance.

Blog System A Laravel-backed content system integrated into the admin panel, with a Next.js frontend. Drives organic traffic through educational content, vendor success stories, and product guides.

Six interconnected systems, one shared API. I handled product architecture, backend engineering, API design, frontend builds across three separate Next.js apps, the email and inbox infrastructure, and third-party integrations. CusorCart is production-ready and built entirely in-house.
