CV Helper — AI-Powered CV Tailoring & Interview Prep Platform

CV Helper (built under my Hireready project) tackles a problem I hit directly during my own job search: rewriting and re-tailoring a CV for every single application is slow, and doing it well — matching keywords, staying ATS-safe, keeping the story consistent — is hard to do by hand at volume. This is that solved as a product.

What I built:

1. JD Match Intelligence — users paste a job description against their master CV and get an instant match score plus the exact keyword gaps between the two (e.g. missing terms like "stakeholder alignment" or "SLA ownership"), with concrete keyword insertion suggestions rather than vague feedback.
2. Experience Rewrite — an AI rewrite engine that reworks CV bullets to surface measurable impact and match role language, while staying grounded in the user's real background rather than fabricating experience.
3. Interview Readiness — generates role-specific interview questions with tailored answer directions based on the actual job description and CV, not generic question banks.
4. Multi-variant CV management — users can save multiple tailored CV variants, re-run generation when their base profile changes, and keep a history across applications, since job searching is a repeat-application problem, not a one-off task.
5. A generation pipeline with visible progress state (step-by-step: scoring, gap analysis, ATS scan) so the AI processing isn't a black box to the user.

Why it mattered:

Most "AI resume tools" either produce generic rewrites or force users to start from scratch per application. CV Helper is built around a single master profile with per-application tailoring — closer to how I actually approached my own search, where the same real project history (Cusorcart, Rolefit, etc.) gets repositioned differently depending on the role.

Stack: Full-stack web app with AI/LLM integration for scoring, rewriting, and interview question generation, ATS-safe output formatting.
